At The VI Form Academy, we offer a range of subjects, all of which are taught by subject specialists.
Advanced Level (A Level)
All students following A Levels will complete a two year course. All students are expected to study a minimum of 3 A Levels or a combination of A Levels and OCR Nationals/BTEC qualifications to equate to 3 A Levels.
Level 3 Vocational Qualifications – BTEC and Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQ’s)
These qualifications are equivalent to A Levels, recognised by universities, and are offered in practical based subjects such as Sport, Health and Social Care, Business and ICT. These courses are mainly examined through portfolio work and include an element of work experience.
